What We Do

Primarily, we are two things:

1 - Ground Supplier or DMC (Destination Management Company) - When acting as ground supplier, Cuba Aventuras provides the logistical operations to create an amazing tour. This could mean providing the transportation, kayaks, bikes, specialty guides, etc...  In this role we cater to other outbound tour operators from the United States and/or other part of the world.  And, we cater to organizations, alumni groups, school groups, clubs and more (photography, audubon groups, etc...) who are looking to organize custom itineraries for their people.  We are authorized to work with and organize tours for American companies and organizations who need people-to-people programs.

2 - Direct Tour Operator -  When acting as a direct tour operator, Cuba Aventuras sells directly to the public interested in multi-day adventure tours in Cuba.  However, for US Citizens wishing to join a scheduled group departure, you must book with an American tour operator who has contracted to use our services.  If you are American and do contact us about a group tour, we can help point you in the right direction to one of our trusted partners.

"Simply put -- we are the adventure travel ground operator for anyone looking for a reliable source in this niche form of travel in Cuba!"

Here are just a couple of the roles we play as a "Ground Supplier":

Receptive

A receptive tour operator is a local tour company that specializes in tourism experiences and manages products and services for incoming visitors most often booked through international tour operators.

Receptive tour operators play an important role in the packaged travel industry. When a tour operator is planning an itinerary in a market they are unfamiliar with – they seek the expert cooperation of a receptive tour operator. Since the receptive knows that market inside and out the tour operators rely on the receptive operator to provide an interesting and unique experience as well as a smoother-running itinerary.

White Label Tours

We know how important a brand is.  The quality of our tours and guides insures the delivery of an incredible adventure.  Sometimes, tour operators ask us to "white label" the tour so their brand is evident throughout the tour.  This could mean putting the tour operator logo on our vehicles, having guides wear the tour operators clothing or uniforms, or even providing a special "part" of the tour that is a signature piece to the tour operator adventures, like a farewell dinner or having the guides use certain "catch phrases."
